Lanny for Model Number FDB520RHS0 I have a Frigidaire FDB520RHS0 Dishwasher that is not pumping out the water. I have checked for blockage in the output and input pipes, I checked for continuity for the pump, I looked to see if impellers are ok, I even plugged the pump directly into ac. Everything looks fine and the pump pumped water. So, the only thing I can think of is the control board. Is there a way to check it to make sure it is applying power to the pump? Is there a way to just run it through the pump cycle?
Answer Lanny, if you are sure there is nothing blocking the drain line under the sink, you can check the drain motor by pulling the dishwasher out and checking for 120 volts going into the motor. Normally you can hear it humming, if it hums then you know there is voltage and you have some type of restriction. I would start at the sink drain and work my way back to the drain motor.
