What would be the second item to replace? "Dishwasher starts and stays in the wash cycle. It does not progess thru the cycle, it just keeps washing. Will replacing the board fix this issue? Answer Hello Eric. You will need to test the heater 154825001 and the thermostat 154290204 and make sure they read closed for continuity. If either is bad, the dishwasher will continue to run to heat the water up to the correct temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
