This refrigerator control board is the central electronic module that manages key appliance functions for consistent temperatures and dependable operation. A failed board can cause no-cool conditions, unstable temperatures, or unresponsive controls; replacing it restores proper function. What it does:

  • Interprets inputs from temperature sensors and user settings to run the appliance correctly
  • Distributes power to components through relays and connectors
  • Coordinates cooling and, on applicable models, defrost and fan operations
  • Common failure signs can include no or intermittent cooling, warm temperatures, frost buildup, clicking from the control area, or unresponsive controls
What's included:
  • 1 control board
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
  • Use ESD precautions; handle the board by the edges only
  • Photograph wiring; move connectors one at a time, ensuring keyed orientation and full seating
  • After reassembly, restore power and allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize

Hello Stephen. You will need to check and see if there is power coming to the auger motor. If there is power there, and the motor does not run, it is bad. You can only test this with the door switch closed. The auger motor has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. If there is no power, then you will need to check the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
