Packer Fan for Model Number PLD2850RDC2 Good Afternoon! Working on my Frigidare Dishwasher & I found that it doesn't direct water to the top racks, only the bottom. It would appear that the check valve ball is designed to direct the water to either the upper or lower rack, one rack at a time. Does anyone know if the ball is supposed to switch locations (upper or lower) just from the circulation pump pausing for a moment, or is the pump supposed to reverse directions to accomplish this task? My pump pauses as it should, but the check valve continues to block off the upper racks at all times. If the motor should reverse, it would appear I need to order a new control board. If it is not supposed to reverse, I think I will order a new check valve, housing & spray arms. Thanks for you help!
Answer Hello Packer fan. No, all arms should move in the unit. It sounds like either the filters are dirty or the valve is bad and will need to be replaced. Valve will cause low water in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 20, 2015
