Larry for Model Number GLDB653AS1 Hi, I noticed that my upper spray arm is not operating. I pulled the unit out and observed that the water rises slowly up the delivery tube on the side of the dishwasher. When I tap on the delivery tube the water suddenly rises up the tube with great pressure. I have to tap the tube almost everytime to get the water to flow properly up the delivery tube to the top sprayer. I think the plastic check ball has to be replaced but unsure if it could be some other part. Looking for a little help. Thanks for your time.
Answer Larry, First thing, is there a build up of deposits on the tub , racks or filter plates ? Does the dishwasher fill properly, low water level can disrupt the pressure in the pump and cause washability issues. If all checks OK, then check and replace the "check ball" . Thanks Read More...
