Part Number: OEM18691620
Manufacturer Part Number: 5304509231

The Clock is an OEM part for Frigidaire ovens and ranges. This electronic component not only serves as a time display but also plays a pivotal role in the appliance's operation, allowing users to set timers, program cooking cycles, and in some models, control oven functions.

Causes of a malfunctioning clock can include electrical surges that damage the circuitry, normal wear and tear affecting its functionality over time, and moisture or grease infiltration from cooking that can lead to short circuits or component damage.

Symptoms of a malfunctioning Clock include:

  • The display is erratic or completely blank, making it impossible to read the time or set functions.
  • Inability to program the oven or use the timer, affecting cooking precision.
  • Intermittent operation, where the clock might reset randomly or fail to respond to controls.

This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

Jeffrey G. for Model Number LGGF3043KFA

Basically the lowes version of the FGGF3043KF. I need to install this EOC and want to know how to access the panel in order to replace it. Where are the screws located etc. Do I access from the front or pull it away from the wall and access from the rear? Also there is a ribbon cable (as it appears) to connect to the controller. Is there a plug that fits to the controller or do I need to match color coded wires and connect individually? I have purchased the controller and will have it tuesday

Answer

jeffrey, You will need to slide the range out and all your access is through the rear panel "To remove the electronic oven control: 1. Disconnect power from the range. 2. Remove the back panel from the backguard. 3. Disconnect wires and harness from the control board. 4. Remove the four screws. (One from each corner.)" There should be 2 multi plug connectors that need to be attached to the same connectors on the repalcement EOC. Good Luck and Thanks
