Sam for Model Number FEF336ECC I have the frigidaire FEF336ECC electric range model. The clock is working, and so are the lights. However, baking, broiling and the surface elements never heat up. There is obviously electricity otherwise the clock wouldn't display the time. How do I do about diagnosing the issue, and replacing the needed part?
Answer Sam, This issue will be cause by an error on the L2 side of the circuit. The first place that you will want to check is at the terminal block. Check from each of the outer terminals to the center terminal for 120 vac. If one side does not have 120 vac then check at the power receptacle for 120 vac to neutral. If there is 120 vac to each leg then the power cord would be the issue. If there is only 1 leg that has 120 vac then there is a home electrical issue. If there is 120 vac on each leg of the terminal block then you will need to check your wiring in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 24, 2013
