Vance for Model Number 253.6419240E When I tested the thermostat in all range of settings cool-coldest it read .05 Ohms for all. So does this mean it is bad? shouldn't it read .00 at the coldest and if you place it in a freezer the warmest will also read .00?
Answer Hello Vance. No, it should read closed for continuity on any setting except off if it is room temp. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
