Larry for Model Number U23W the freezer runs but does't shut off when I turn the control to off it keeps on runing
Answer Larry, the model number is incorrect or incomplete so we can't check or verify the part needed, but you are on track, the cold control is basically a single pole single throw switch. If the contacts "stick" closed, or the chemical in the capillary tube has leaked out, the switch remains closed and the compressor will continue to run. Thanks, Read More...
