Chris for Model Number 25374813400 Hi Have a fridge that was running for a bit then stopped, repair man said symptoms we described were probably a bad overload protector, replaced it didn't work, upon poking around I noticed that the temp control in fridge is just clicking, unless you turn it to zero. Is it possible that control is bad or thermostat inside it?
Answer Hello Chris. Test and see if there is 120 VAC at the compressor. If not, and the control clicks, replace the temperature control 241537103. If there is 120 VAC at the compressor, and it does not run, you will need to replace the compressor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
