Jacki for Model Number LEQ1442ES0 My Frigidaire dryer will not start. Lights come on and it makes a clicking noise when I push start but nothing happens. I have removed and tested the door switch, thermostat, and thermal fuse. I am at a loss as to what to do next? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Oh, I ran the function test and code test. The code came back E9E. Outlet and cord were also checked. Thank you. Jacki
Answer Hello Jacki. Test for power across the grey wire coming from the board to the motor and the white wire at the motor when you press start. If there is power there, and the motor does not run, you will need to replace the motor. If there is no power, then replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
