Tex for Model Number LEQ1442ESO My 6 yr old Frigidaire electric dryer beeps intermittently and the lights on the control panel flash. Usually, the dryer dries clothes, but sometimes not. This beep / flash event has happened frequently over the past 6 months and seems to be getting more frequent. I have cleaned the lint filter and hose and vent to the outside and have unplugged the dryer for 30 minutes. NO help. I have been reading appliance repair blogs and it appears as if it may be the control panel /circuit board. What do you think? Is this something that I can install with common tools? Any special level of expertise needed to install the control board? Thanks,
Answer Tex, First thing, check and make sure none of the control panel buttons are sticking, remove the dryer top and check the control printed circuit board and area for possible moisure, debris, or condensation. If all checks are OK, then replace the control board 134484212. Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 15, 2011
