J.C. for Model Number FEQ1442ESO Hello, My dryer codes aren't in book. Has been blinking for a while, just unplugged. Now won't run more than a minute before shutting off, under all settings auto or timed. Tried to reset like manual said, doesn't work either. Took completely apart, cleaned out all lint. Appear to have some oil on back of drum like a small grease leak or something. Found ball bearing loose, replaced it. Still acts same as above. Is it a thermostat or the circuit board? Thanks.

The oil you saw near the rear of the unit is where the rear bearing was lubricated from the factory and is normal. There is nothing in there to leak. As far as what part to replace, you need to follow the troubleshooting instructions on the tech sheet and let us know at that point if further assistance is required. If the unit runs about a minutes every time you try to use it. I would first suspect a poor electrical connection and start looking at the terminal block where the power cord connects electrically to the unit. Read More...
