Mike for Model Number frgidaire washer # ATF6000ES Sometimes I push start does not work. Hours later push start button then works. Sometimes in cycle all of a sudden washer stops. Hit start button nothing works. Hours later comes on hit start button then works. Sounds like some kind of electrical to me. Maybe control circuit board?
Answer Hello Mike, First verify the power supply. When the unit will not respond, check the power in the out the unit is plugged into. Another good check is to look for burned spots and/or a melted look around the prongs in the insulative part of the plug. If these exist, the wall outlet is loose and in need of replacement. If the plug looks good but the voltage drops out when you push the button the wiring and/or breaker are In question. If the voltage is fine, the control board 134523106 will require replacement.
