Steve for Model Number FFFW5000QW0 Over the last year, I have been losing cycle modes one by one. I am now on the last one, "Heavy". By losing, I mean the washer locks the door, makes noise that it would normally make before the water fills the basin, but then never fills, and then spins with no water for a few minutes. Then the timer resets to 3 minutes and counts down to 0 and shuts off and opens the door lock. Heavy mode still works and washes clothes just fine by my standard. I suspect control board based off other troubleshooting threads online, but I also question whether our German Shepherd's hair could be the root cause. Thank you in advance for your input.
Answer Steve, It is not likely that the issue will be caused by hair from a dog but would be a main control board that is faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 15, 2017
