Answer Hello Patrick, The board is not hard to replace, but you will need to remove the control panel from the microwave... more to access and replace the control board. To do this, remove the two screws on top that thread straight down toward the floor. Shift the air grille until the plastic clips allow removal, (this is normally easier with the door opened). With the air grille removed, you will see a single screw centered above the touch pad. Remove this screw and shift the touch pad assembly up and it will unhook from the plastic tabs fitted into the slots. Now for the important part. Use your cell phone to take several pictures of the control board with the wires still in place. Take the pictures from several different angles. These will be very useful to you when it's time for reassembly. From here the procedure is fairly self explanatory. With the wires removed, remove the screws that retain the board to the control panel assembly. Re-assembly is done in the reverse order. Read More...
