Frank K. for Model Number ffh21f7hwa Sometimes my upright freezer interior light blinks when I open door and there is a hum sound like a overload. When I close door, door ajar and power loss light is on. If I unplug it for 30 minutes it comes back on. I have replaced the door switch. Could it be the cable is shorting out when the door is opened. I noticed the light is expensive. Is it regular, incandescent light, or what. Will unit work if I remove the light?
Answer Hello Frank, This is most likely the control board 297235200. There is the possibility of a damaged harness at the door hinge.
