Bernie for Model Number LFFH17F7HWD I just had a new fan installed because of the noise about 4 months ago and it is starting again. It appears that when the fan starts, the sound is normal, but after a while the noise is there. Almost like after a time running the fan gets hot.
Answer Hello Bernie, This can be due to a loose fan blade, frost building up near the fan so it causes vibration, or simply a bad part. In some cases, it isn't the fans' fault at all, but a fan motor mount issue, (like a harmonic vibration type issue). This is the kind of thing that basically just needs to be looked at to determine if the fan is actually causing the noise or if it is a nearby vibration that can be corrected with a piece of electrical tape between two pieces of sheet metal, etc. Read More...
