Kenneth for Model Number LFFH21F7HWA I replaced the control panel that was on the door. After 10 hrs. the compressor is still running . The temperature control is set on 10 degrees. Before I replaced the panel on the door the compressor did not run continuously.
Answer Kenneth, It's going to take some time for a 21 cu.ft. freezer to cool down to 10 dgrs.F and equalize the temperature. Are you sure you have the control set for Fahrenheit and not Celsius ? The door is closed and sealed and the interior light is going out ? Depending on how long the freezer was inoperative and warm, will determine the time it takes to cool down and equalize the temp.
