Mike for Model Number FGHF2366PFAA

The LED's on my freezer door User Interface panel are illegible. When I scroll to change temps, they are clear and legible. But not when in normal operation mode. Freezer is working fine, but fridge is warm. I've changed the temp sensor in the refrigerator section and also the main control board under the freezer section. No change in operation. Could it simply be the User Interface panel that needs replacing? Does this User Interface panel actually control refrigerator temp??

Answer

Mike, the user interface 5304527930 is responsible for communicating the temperature setting to the main control. However, it is recommended that the damper 5303918899 and the return vent be inspected for any obstructions. If there is an obstruction, or if the damper does not open, the failure would need to be addressed. In regards to the interface LEDs not being legible, this would be a failure of the interface.
