Greg M. for Model Number LFFH21F7HW The electronic temp unit kept reporting 20-24 degrees every day for periods of time & then would go back to the zero setting. Sometimes the high temp alarm would come on. So we bought a thermometer for freezers and it is registering -17 degrees. It appears the thermometer isn't working on the freezer. I want to know if I have to replace the electronic temp unit or if there is a thermometer sending unit or some other piece I have to replace. I don't want to replace the electronic temp unit and not have that fix the problem.
Answer Hi Greg. The electronic control part # 297235200.The control assembly unsnaps out of the door. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to unsnap the unit out of the door. The disconnect the wires and connect them to the new board and snap it into place. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 2, 2012
