Steve for Model Number Frigidaire GLFH21F8HWH After a power outage when the power comes back on, the freezer will not start and the control panel will be completely dark. This will continue for as long as the freezer is plugged in. After unplugging the freezer for about one hour and plugging it back in then the freezer will just start and run fine as if nothing happened. It is like a reset but is it normal to have to unplug and wait? I contacted Frigidaire and they said it is normal! Shouldn't the freezer restart after the power comes back on without having to unplug it and wait first? So is the control panel simply defective?
