Jason for Model Number FKFH21F7HWD My mother in law left the door ajar for about 6 hrs, the freezer is in my garage. The thermostat on the door read 36 and I shut the door by 2 hrs it was reading -2 but I had a regular thermostats in the freezer and it was reading 30. Nothing was really freezing. I shut it completely down last night in hopes the back end was frozen over and not anything major. Do you feel this will help or is it something else? Thank you!!
Answer Jason, hopefully there is nothing seriously wrong, it takes at least 24 hours for temperatures to return to normal. By turning it off and letting it sit for a while would thaw any frost build up in the freezer section. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 26, 2018
