Ray for Model Number PLCS389ECD My control pad is completely dead, like it has no power. Check power and its good, even through the power block. Gas burner igniters still work. Not sure if its the control panel or what. Is this the part that would fix my problem or is there another control panel or mother board? Thanks
Answer Ray, if the clock display is dead as well, the failure is in the oven control 316418731. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. If the clock is displayed, the failure could be in the control panel 318312242, however, the manufacturer does not provide a testing procedure for this. The ribbon connector can be inspected for any damage or a loose connection. If an error code is not showing in the display, the oven control would be the likely cause in this situation. Read More...
