Joe G Regarding F11 err message when replacing the oven control unit, how does one handle replacing the touch screen. Do you use old one, if so how do u remove it
Answer Joe, It's best and easiest to replace the overkay(touch screen), it can be removed and transferred to the new control, but it usually doesn't "look" very good if you do. But, You can use a blow dryer and warm/heat the overlay, then carefully and slowly "roll" the overlay off the control. Apply it to the new control while it is still hot, press and squeegee out the air bubbles and wrinkles, install the control, restore power and test the range operation. Read More...
