Rick for Model Number Kenmore 417.43142200 Washer drain pump seems to be binding when removed from pump housing. Pump rotation is not smooth-appears to stop and resume motion. I assume the rotation of the pump motor should be smooth. Washer fails to pump water from tub during final spin cycle. Machine does not appear to be completing final spin and if it does clothes remain too damp. Is pump replacement the proper action?
