Jeremy for Model Number FDB1500LFCO My dishwasher seems to be leaving glasses, plasticware, and dishes with some film and dry looking soapy spots on them. It has also ran some cycles where one of the pumps sounds really loud. I'm going to replace the drain pump because I took it apart and can't get it to seal and think it's the noisy motor. The circulation motor seems fine as I felt and listened to it while it was running. Any thoughts on what's causing the bad washing?
Answer Hello Jeremy. The first step would be to clean the dishwasher with a cleaner such as Glisten W10549845. After you have cleaned the dishwasher, the next thing to check would be the microfilter below the lower spray arm. After removing the arm, you should have access to the filter. If you are still getting a bad wash, it could be the circulation pump not building the proper pressure to clean the dishes. I hope this info helps! Read More...
