Dave for Model Number FDB1500LFSO My Frigidaire dishwasher will not drain. I followed the steps to check for clogs, main motor/pump, drain pump ect. I found a lot of residue, a thin white chalky coating on everything inside the dishwasher. I tested the main pump and it seems to be working fine. The drain pump is working but is very noisy and does not seem to drain the water. I think I might need a new drain pump but not sure. Can you help?
Answer Hello Dave. Test for power to the drain pump. If there is power to the pump, and it does not drain, and the unit is not clogged, you will replace the pump in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
