Jason for Model Number FDB4315LFC0 Hello, My dishwasher (FDB4315LFC0) recently started to intermittently run either the drain or circulation pump after the completion of the washing and drying cycle. When raising the drain hose I noticed some water was able to flow back into the base of the unit. I assume that the problem is the check valve flapper built into the drain pump assembly. I plan on ordering a new drain pump as I didn't see the option to just order the flapper as with other models (GE). I also wanted to ask whether or not a bad water level sensor (if applicable) could be potentially sending an improper signal to the controller telling the system to drain even when no water is present. I am suspecting an electrical issue in addition to the check valve given the fact that every 2-3 minutes the washer will try to turn the pump on. Let me know if you suggest I purchase any additional spare parts. Thank you for your assistance.
Answer Hello Jason. This sounds like the main control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 5, 2016
