Wendy R. for Model Number FDB13ORDS3 Hi, My dishwasher wouldn't drain, so I pulled it out and saw that underneath, on the right hand, a yellow wire had been chewed completely through. Is the chewed wire the problem, and if so, can I get it fixed or do I have to buy an entirely new machine? Thanks, Wendy
Answer Hello Wendy! It is very possible that the chewed wire provides power to the drain pump, or to a component that triggers the drain cycle. You may want to repair or replace that wire and see if that fixes the issue. If you fix that wire, and the unit still does not drain, you can visit the repair forum to get some help diagnosing the issue. I will include the link in this message. I hope this helps!
