Frank for Model Number fdb1050rec2 Dishwasher is not draining. I've visually checked everything: the drain hose has no clogs, I've looked inside the dishwasher to make sure there is no debris that are clogging the parts and filters and everything is clean, I also tried the baking soda/vinegar trick with no success. Is there anything else besides changing the drain pump that I could try ??
Answer Hello Frank. Test and see if there is power coming to the pump assembly A00126501. If so, and the unit does not drain, and the hoses are clear, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
