Moochy for Model Number FPRH19D7LF0 My "Door Ajar" LED is on and the alarm beeps. When I close the door sensor switch by hand, the interior light turns OFF, but the "Door Ajar" LED remains on and the beeping continues. Pressing the "Alert Reset" will turn OFF the "Door Ajar" LED and stop the beeping for about 5 minutes, and then it starts all over again. Presuming that the door sensor switch is not double pole, can I presume that it's working because the interior light turns off? I think this board, Electronic Control Board AP5177035 / 297326500, is then the likely culprit. When first looking into this, I accidentally entered in my complimenting freezer in, and in the Q/A section, someone had said that the "Board-Led Power 241891608 / AP5650564" can cause the issue instead of the Electronic Control Board (which the freezer also has). Does the refrigerator have a similar type "Board-Led Power" part that potentially can also cause the beeping "Door Ajar" issue, or is almost sure the Electronic Control Board AP5177035 / 297326500 ? Thanks for your patience in listening.
Answer Moochy, as the door switch is working properly, the failure would be in the main control 297326500. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, January 30, 2022
