This is a refrigerator control board. It makes sure all the appliance processes run as expected. It links up with other internal parts to ensure the correct level of cooling. The part is made of durable materials and includes a small display. This offers information to users about the current temperature inside the refrigerator. The screen can crack or internal parts of the control board can become damaged. This can cause the refrigerator to stop cooling or running entirely. If the control board is damaged or not working correctly, it should be replaced. First, access the back of the appliance and unplug it from the wall. Remove the screws that hold on the cover to work with the control board. Make notes about where the wires are connected before removing the board. The new replacement part should have the wires reconnected in the same locations. Replace the cover and turn the power back on.The control board is compatible with several refrigerators made by Frigidaire. It is sold on an individual basis and sourced directly from the manufacturer. This is a genuine OEM replacement component.

Moochy for Model Number FPRH19D7LF0

My "Door Ajar" LED is on and the alarm beeps. When I close the door sensor switch by hand, the interior light turns OFF, but the "Door Ajar" LED remains on and the beeping continues. Pressing the "Alert Reset" will turn OFF the "Door Ajar" LED and stop the beeping for about 5 minutes, and then it starts all over again. Presuming that the door sensor switch is not double pole, can I presume that it's working because the interior light turns off? I think this board, Electronic Control Board AP5177035 / 297326500, is then the likely culprit. When first looking into this, I accidentally entered in my complimenting freezer in, and in the Q/A section, someone had said that the "Board-Led Power 241891608 / AP5650564" can cause the issue instead of the Electronic Control Board (which the freezer also has). Does the refrigerator have a similar type "Board-Led Power" part that potentially can also cause the beeping "Door Ajar" issue, or is almost sure the Electronic Control Board AP5177035 / 297326500 ? Thanks for your patience in listening.

Lloyd, once the lock tabs are disengaged, the top of the control 297326500 will rotate back to loosen up the mounting tabs on the bottom. This will allow the control to be lifted up and out.

Alex, the only other part that could cause this when looking at the wiring diagram would be the control board itself 297326500.

About a week ago we noticed that the items on the top shelf were beginning to freeze, not solid, but they would have ice in them. We adjusted the temperature to see if that would help, from 38°F to 40°F. Yesterday the alert started going off, so I get the manual down and start going through page 11 and finally after about an hour I get the light back on a and the alert bell to stop and the temperature back to 38°F. Well, it's all back. The repairman will not be here till next Tuesday, a week from today. I'm not really sure what I did that made the alert stop yesterday. If I put it in Sabbath Mode and the alert goes off, can I leave it there for an extended time without doing any more damage? Thanks

Hello Nellie, You will need to test the temperature sensor 297110400. Also, make sure there is sufficient room behind and at the sides of the unit for proper air circulation, (3 inches required). If the unit is on carpeting this can also alter its' normal operating temperature. Make sure there is no iceball on the Freon lines coming into the rear wall of the unit in the evaporator compartment which would indicate a low Freon charge. If no problems are found, the electronic control 297326500 is the most likely cause of the issue.

Hello Robin. The board is the issue. They are not to hard to replace. Just make sure the power is turned off and make sure you install the wires into the correct location on the board.
