Warren S. for Model Number FES365ECD How do you remove the glass and install the element for this model? I can't figure out how to get the top to release to gain access to the element. Please explain.
Answer Hello Warren, A slide in unit will have to be removed from its' installed position to remove the main top. Be sure to dis-continue the power supply to the unit before beginning. You will have to remove the screws around the perimeter of the top on the sides and back of the unit to release the main top. In some cases, the knobs have to be removed to allow access to the large nuts under them. When these are removed, the control panel can be released and the screws under this panel can be accessed, (only necessary on certain series of this model). Read More...
