Paul for Model Number FFHT2131QE0 Refrigerator (lower) door broke for second time in one year. First replacement was from dealer, did not last. Appliance model number is from inside plate in refrigerator, but when I type in that number, your website takes me to what appears to be a stainless steel fridge (mine is black plastic) and a $126 door handle set. If found another part on your site, AP6004881, that looks like it would fit and matches the repair video, but the compatibility tool says it will not fit my fridge. Also, the color is white and I need black. FYI, I recently ordered a door shelf for this refrigerator, part AP2115859 (240338001), and it worked out great, even though your compatibility tool said it was not compatible.
Answer Paul, The door handle set for the model number you supplied has been "substituted" by the manufacturer (several times) The correct part number to order is 5304506471 / 5304506471 Handle Set. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks . PS make sure you don't overtighten the mounting screws. Overtightenned screws can distort the handle and cause the "plastic" to fracture and the handle will break. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 16, 2017
