Lawson for Model Number Tappan 36-3692-0001 The door on this 20 year old oven drops too low when open. The hinge on one side has the top screw missing, so it is loose, and on the other side, the hinge appears to overextend - that is, the part that slides in and out of the oven as the door is opened seems to come out farther than it should. Do I need new hinges or are there separate springs and screws I can order? Do you have a video that shows how to replace the hinges? Thanks!
Answer Lawson, you can replace the oven door springs part number 318088400 and the screw is part number 134154100. If needed the left hinge is part number [318348801] and the right hinge is part number 318348800. Unfortunately, we do not have a video at this time. Thanks. Read More...
