This is the spark electrode used to ignite the gas in the oven. It creates a spark at the burner to light the flame so your oven can heat reliably.

  • Generates the spark that lights the oven burner
  • A failed electrode can cause no heat, delayed ignition, or the oven not lighting
  • Intermittent sparking or clicking without ignition may indicate a worn or cracked tip
  • Carbon buildup or damage to the ceramic insulator can prevent proper ignition
What's included: One oven spark igniter assembly as pictured Installation notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
  • Access the burner area, note wire routing, and handle the ceramic insulator carefully
  • Position the electrode tip at the specified gap to the burner per service literature
  • Test for proper spark and burner ignition after reassembly
