Matt for Model Number igniter part# 316489403 I have a Frigidaire Gas Oven that won't light. The igniter glows, but the gas does not turn on. The stove top works fine. I wanted to test the igniter for the proper resistance before purchasing a replacement. What is the correct resistance for part # 316489403 (oven igniter)? Mine is reading 360 ohms. Thanks
Answer Matt, That resistance sounds like it would be correct but the best way to tell is to do a voltage test at the oven safety valve. You would want to test the terminals for the bake valve for 3.2 to 3.6 VAC and if there is proper power then the issue will be the oven safety valve. if there is no proper power then the issue will be a faulty igniter.
