Jason for Model Number Fridgidair I bought a replacement ignitor 316489403. After replacing the ignitor, I tried turning it on bake and it will not light. The bottom lighter will not ignite. The ignitor does not heat up and glow. Is there any kind of fuses or anything else I could replace that would cause the igniter not to light?
Answer Hello Jason, If this unit has a thermostat, it or the selector switch would be the likely cause. If it has a digital clock assembly, you will need to test the temperature sensor for a resistance reading of 1090 ohms at 77° and you would add 2 ohms for every 1 degree of temperature increase. If it tests good, the control assembly would be the most likely cause. For a more detailed diagnosis, you will need to please post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 31, 2020
