Jim for Model Number jlmjstine@gmail.com I have a Frigidaire gas stove model LGGF333EE0WW. It's only a couple of years old. I don't use the broiler because when I try to use it I smell gas. I checked the burner tube and all the connections, and they all look good. So as far as I can see that leaves me with either the safety valve or the ignitor. What do you think? Thanks.
Answer Jim, The model number you supplied is incorrect or incomplete. We need a proper model number from the production tag on the range to properly assist you and make the proper recommendations. If your range has a waist-high broil burner (burner in the oven ceiling) you may want to check the gas supply tube from the safety valve up to the broil burner tube/elbow in the back of the range. If the tube is damaged, the connections are loose, you'd smell the gas when the safety valve opens and supplies the gas to the broil burner, Read More...
