Garth for Model Number Frigidaire FGEF3055FKA Range Hi, I replaced the oven control board and applied the old overlay from the original panel and the new unit lights up displaying a flashing 12:00 number but none of the controls work. The new board has a ribbon cable connected to it, while the ribbon cable is attached to the old overlay. What is the problem? Do I need a new overlay?
Answer Garth, Based on the model number listed, this unit would have the membrane attached to the clock and there should not be a ribbon harness going from the control panel to the board.
