Jack for Model Number LGEF3045KFH

My oven and broiler are not heating up, but the stovetop works fine. The broiler is heating up 0%, but the oven coils are heating up to about 180 degrees F. I've checked continuity on both coils and they are fine (14 ohms resistance and no short circuits). I've checked L1 and L2 voltage going into the unit, and total are ~240 voltage. I checked and each separately is 120v. How do I check if there is 240v AC going into the control board? Also what are the part numbers for this particular control board and control overlay? Thanks.

Jack, with the back panel of the console removed, the oven control 5304495520 can be tested for 240VAC at the terminal L1 to the terminal L2 IN. If there is voltage, the next step would be to test from L2 OUT to BK during a bake cycle, or L2 OUT to BRL during a broil cycle. If there is not 240VAC, the control has failed and would need to be replaced.

Brenda, Unfortunately, we do not have just the screws for the stacking kit and to get them you would need a stack kit 5303937141. As for the leveling legs for the washer would be part number 131841600 and for the dryer 131527400.

Bill, Based on the information provided the control assembly is the likely issue, it controls both bake and broil elements. If you have the 240vac into the board then the control may not be supplying the voltage to the elements. You can verify this with a multi-meter at the control. The part numbers for the control are: control 5304495520 and the control overlay 316419821

Hello Martine, Parts with different part numbers, especially control boards, have different part numbers because they are designed to operate machines with specific options. Substituting a control board with a different part number will not normally work. The only one that will work properly is the one that the manufacturer recommends since it is the one designed for the model. You can buy what you would like but the only one we can guarantee is the one recommended by the manufacturer 5304495520.

Hello Herb, that part is a line noise suppressor, it helps keep electrical line noise from entering the control board and affecting its operation and also helps any internal line noise the board may generate from getting into the electric lines in the house that may affect other electronic devices. They are very common on electronic devices today.

Chris, aside from inspecting the ribbon for any damage, there is not a way to test the ribbon cable listed in the technical sheet for this unit. One thing that can be checked is ensuring that the ribbon is securely placed into the main control and that the ribbon cable has no signs of any damage. More than likely the old control impacted the interface, but checking the ribbon first is always a safe way to go.
