Danny for Model Number LGEF3045KFJ My oven temp is not constant. On bake cycle oven set at 350, the panel element indicator lights turn off at 347, but the oven temp continues to climb to 397.no indication of elements turning on ??? I checked temp with a electronic bar b que thermometer. While cooking Christmas dinner in bake cycle the oven would not come back up to temp when it needed to. I started the convect bake cycle and it did finish cooking but temp was erratic.
Answer Danny, You will want to check the oven sensor to make sure that there is 1090 ohms of resistance at room temp of 77 degrees. You will also want to check the sensor while the unit is heating to make sure that it is good. The way to determine the resistance the ratio is for every 1 degree of temperature you add 2 ohms of resistance. If the oven sensor checks ok then the issue will be caused by a faulty control board.
