Chris for Model Number LGEF3045KFA I replaced my defective control board with a new one, part # 5304495520. I reused the overlay which was reapplied without any issues. After turning it on, the clock blinks and the buttons are unresponsive. I was wondering if there may be an issue with the ribbon cable on the board. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
Answer Chris, aside from inspecting the ribbon for any damage, there is not a way to test the ribbon cable listed in the technical sheet for this unit. One thing that can be checked is ensuring that the ribbon is securely placed into the main control and that the ribbon cable has no signs of any damage.
