Steve for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Hello. When the dishwasher door is closed, without starting any cycle, it sounds like the machine is running. but no washing taking place. When I start a washing cycle, it will run thru cycle but no water or washing. 3 year old dishwasher. replaced water inlet valve and float switch.
Answer Steve, This unit has a vent fan in it, you will want to check to make sure that it is not the vent that is blowing and causing the noise. Also if the water valve and float did not correct the issue with no water coming into the unit then the control board is most likely the problem with the unit. Read More...
