Terry Muldoon for Model Number FGHD2433KB1 I am replacing the door latch on my dishwasher. I have received the replacement part but it appears to be an updated version. the older model had connector boxes on the ends of the wiring harnesses. by removing them I was able to plug the connectors directly into the assembly, is that right? and does it matter which side the wiring harnesses (one black and one white) are plugged into and is there any specific orientation to the plugs themselves?
Answer Terry, No, there isn't a specific orientation of the wires. Yes, you should've removed the wire covers and installed the wires to the terminals on the switch. Basically a "straight across" trade on the door switch assembly. You should be fine from here on out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 15, 2017
