Mike Dunn for Model Number A02841501 I working on a Fridgedaire dishwasher, new around 2014. It stopped working, and I found that the door switch and wire connection burnt. Playing with the connection made it work, but got very hot. I think the switch is over drawing current, but is the control board malfunctioning, or is another device causing the overload, and which components might cause this?
Answer Mike, On this issue, the heat would most likely be caused by a loose connection on the terminals that will create the burning of wires and overheating.
