Doug Poskey for Model Number LRA157MT1 This A/C has been used for about 1 month last year in August by a renter. It was returned to me and I recently took it out of the box to turn it on. It does not work at all when it is plugged in and only makes a "beep". I was told that the PC part #'s were AP4558681 and the main one is AP4513628. My phone conversation led us to our opinion that the problem was probably the ...681 because nothing works. I would like your opinion because I would like to get the part if you are quite certain (not totally) what the problem is. Also, I do not have a manual and need to know how to change PC board. Thanks.
Answer Doug, The display PCB does sound like it could be the issue. To replace the pcb you will need to remove the front cover. There are 3 or 4 screws that hold the assembly on behind the air filter. Once removed you will pull the unit out of the casing and remove the screw holding the pcb in place. You will also need to remove the cover on the control area where the main control would be. Disconnect the wire harness between the 2 and install the new display pcb. Read More...
