Jeff M. for Model Number Electrolux IQ Touch with ES 630A Elec. Oven Control I replaced the RTD #316490000 and this was not the cure, however, placing the replaced upper oven RTD in the position of the lower oven RTD, after several tests of the oven.... no failures. (F10) However, the 316490000 has about a 2 inch chord (meaning I had to leave the RTD dangling out the back of the oven without touching anything) whereas the lower oven's RTD has a chortd about 5 to 6 inches long. I can't find the Part # for the lower oven RTD........ any suggestions? This solution seems to make sense as while I was out of town, my house/dog watcher used the lower oven by mistake and told me that some cardboard caught fire in the lower oven.........
Answer Hello Jeff, This was most likely due to a poor electrical connection in the harness which was corrected by removing and re-installing the parts. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 6, 2013
