Pete for Model Number Kenmore 790.95103410 This is an Induction cooktop/convection range. I just lost both the broil and bake functions. Tested the bake element and the probe with a multi-meter and both looked good and tested in range. 17 ohms on the element and 85 on the probe. No error messages. The bake element will warm to 125 degrees the broil doesn't seem to heat at all. Don't know what else to try now. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, Pete
Answer Pete, the oven sensor probe 316490000 should measure 1100 Ohms at room temperature. For it to read 85 Ohms, it has failed and would need to be replaced. With this reading as it is, it is very likely that it is causing both elements to not heat properly/at all due to it being weakened. Read More...
